Under Pressure

I got a call from a Sergeant with the State Police on Wednesday, apparently one of the dozen forms I filled out re:my eBay coffee pot disaster, after Paypal screwed me, made its way to someones desk. He asked if I had been refunded, by the eBay dickhead who ripped me off(my language not his),I laughed and replied negative. He said he was going to give the guy a call and see what he could do, I laughed again and said " I am not expecting it will work but I appreciate the effort". Thursday morning a refund was in my Paypal account! The guy, who has been making excuses since October 2007, finally coughed up my money after a call from Sergeant Wonderful. The Sergeant called me later in the day to see if anything had happened and I babbled about my thanks and heaped praise upon his unbelievable achievement. His reply was "I just put some pressure on the guy". Bloody miracle is what I call it.
